Majd goes to AACR!

I had the opportunity to attend the 2024 annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in San Diego, California. This meeting is one of the largest gatherings in the field of cancer research globally. The AACR annual meeting brings together more than 20,000 attendees from around the world, including biomedical researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals.

At the AACR I got the chance to present my work at the Cancer Stem Cells poster session. It was such an excellent venue to interact with others within the same research area and get some great feedback on my project and suggestions for additional experiments. I also immensely enjoyed all the talks and poster sessions, which definitely broadened my scientific horizons and helped me view my progress and research from a fresh angle. I truly look forward to future AACRs and all the exciting science!
